NEVADA CONSULAR CORPS

We are the Nevada Consular Corps

The NVCC is a crucial link between Nevada and the world. We aim broaden horizons and foster mutual awareness and understanding.

Our members represent countries from across the world. The NVCC is a prime example of diversity and inclusiveness.

NVCC members have been duly accredited by the US Federal Government to represent their countries in the Silver State.

The Members

Most NVCC members are honorary consuls

Either permanent US residents or US citizens, residing in Nevada and appointed by the government they represent to act on their behalf. Honorary consuls are not career diplomats but volunteer their time, knowledge, and experience to represent foreign interests and foster good relationships.

The work of NVCC consuls takes place under the umbrella of the 1963 Vienna Convention on Consular relations and international jurisprudence derived from that legal framework.

If You Need

As a consular corps, the NVCC is a sui generis body that represents the collective of consuls in Nevada. As such, it has no legal standing and is unable to provide individual assistance to members of the public.
